Katarzyna Madoń-Mitzner, an editor and interviewer, is co-founder of the underground periodical Karta (1982–1989) and historical quarterly Karta (from 1991). Since 2003 she has been Head of the Oral History Program at the KARTA Center in Warsaw, and since 2006 Head of the Oral History Archives and Deputy Director of the History Meeting House in Warsaw.
