Sylvie Lindeperg, a historian, is a professor at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she runs the CERHEC (Center for Studies and Research in History and Aesthetics of Cinema). She was Joint Scientific Director of several multimedia publications, including Images de guerre 1940–1945 and Les Actualités mondiales (2004 and 2005). She is the co-author of Jean-Louis Comolli’s film Face aux fantômes (an INA production, 2009), and the author of several books, including: Nuit et Brouillard. Un Mlm dans l’histoire (2007), published in German as Nacht und Nebel. Ein Film in der Geschichte (2010). She co-edited Théâtres de la mémoire. Mouvement des images, with Christa Blümlinger, Michèle Lagny and Sylvie Rollet (2011).
